How to Select a High Power Optical Circulator
Select a high-power circulator by wavelength, optical power, PM/SM requirement and package.
Use this guide when the application or some target parameters are known but the final component specification still needs to be narrowed before RFQ.
Selection logic
Match the center wavelength
Use a standard wavelength option close to the laser system, or submit a specified wavelength for engineering review.
Confirm average power
The TGG high-power circulator offers standard average-power options from 1 W to 20 W.
Check PM or SM fiber
Polarization requirement determines whether PM or SM fiber should be specified.
Confirm connectors and package
High-power connectorized requests and final package should be reviewed before quotation.
