How to Select a Pump Combiner

Choose a pump combiner by port count, pump wavelength, signal wavelength, fiber and pump power per port.

Use this page when the application is known but the component specification still needs to be narrowed before RFQ.

Selection logic

Port count

Start with N×1, (2+1)×1 or (6+1)×1 according to the laser architecture.

Pump and signal bands

Confirm the pump wavelength band and the signal wavelength band.

Fiber mapping matters

Input pump fiber, signal fiber and output fiber must be reviewed together; the package is not selected independently.

Power per pump

Provide pump power per port and total target system power for engineering review.
