Termination components
Connector parts define the termination between the fiber, ferrule, connector housing and cable. A matched component set keeps the polishing, crimping and boot interfaces consistent through assembly.

| Parameter | Configuration |
|---|---|
| Connector families | LC or SC termination format |
| Fiber fit | Ferrule bore and fiber cladding compatibility |
| End-face geometry | UPC or APC process and housing selection |
| Cable termination | Rear post, crimp ring and boot fit |
| Assembly definition | Bill of materials and part revision |
| Optical acceptance | Measured on the finished termination |
A component set is selected as a matched system. Connector dimensions and ferrule bore tolerances are controlled by its part drawing.
The bill of materials defines the contents. Some kit systems specify the ferrule separately; the component list should identify it explicitly.
A manufacturer reference or drawing revision can identify the fit and assembly scope without relying on the package photograph.

Your configuration
A drawing, configuration or part reference is enough to start. Custom production is normally 4–10 weeks; samples and pilot quantities are quoted.
